The WWE's John Cena will be emblazoned on 4 million boxes of Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles. The kid-friendly wrestler was featured last year on 3 million boxes of Fruity Pebbles on the top of the box but now he has prominent placement on the front and center of boxes, with a sweepstakes likely in the near future.
"We've just been talking with kids. They wanted more variety," said Sharon Pupel, a Post marketing director. "Fred isn't necessarily the … coolest or [most] relevant guy for kids who we are going after."
The original deal with Post began after Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson mocked Cena's ring outfit, describing it like a "big, fat bowl of Fruity Pebbles." The WWE then reached out to Post after it became viral and their fans started chanting "Fruity Pebbles" in arenas.
